Homework Policy
**3/22/10** Modification for the 4th quarter:
Anytime a student has a late or missing assignment, he or she must fill out their homework chart, and get it signed by a parent or guardian. After 10 missed / late assignments, the student will NOT be allowed to attend the St. Louis Science Center field trip in May. This modification was made because students tend to get "spring fever" with the nice weather, and homework completion tends to decline. Any questions, feel free to contact me!
All homework must be turned in first thing in the morning. Any homework that is incomplete or not turned in will receive a ten point deduction. Students have until the next day to complete the assignment. If it is not turned in the following day, the student will receive a "zero" for that assignment.
Read-n-Feed
Once a month on a designated date, fifth grade will have "Read-n-Feed". On this day, students may bring snacks, beverages, reading materials of choice, and something soft to lie on while reading. Students are able to enjoy snacks while reading a favorite book or magazine in comfort!
