Principal's Message
Principal's Message:
- The importance of building a strong and positive relationship with students, parents, teachers, and administration is key to building the foundation to your child’s education.
- Establishing open lines of communication with your child’s classroom teacher is an essential component to maintain your child’s educational success. Here are a few tips to help establish and strengthen this relationship:
- Stay in regular contact with your child’s classroom teacher. If you need to contact your child’s teacher before or after a parent teacher conference, please do not hesitate to do so.
- Converse with your child daily on what happened during their day. Try to have your child describe in detail what they learned.
- Visit the classroom. Often times there is scheduling conflicts that limit this contact, but remember parents are always welcome at Tri-City Elementary!
- If you would like to volunteer in the classroom or help the classroom teacher with various projects throughout the year, contact your child's teacher.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Cummins
