Tri-City Elementary Celebrates the
100th Day of School in Style

Elementary News
The importance of building a strong and positive relationship with students, parents, teachers, and administration is key to building the foundation to your child’s education.
Establishing open lines of communication with your child’s classroom teacher is an essential component to maintain your child’s educational success. Here are a few tips to help establish and strengthen this relationship:
- Stay in regular contact with your child’s classroom teacher. If you need to contact your child’s teacher before or after a parent teacher conference, please do not hesitate to do so.
- Converse with your child daily on what happened during their day. Try to have your child describe in detail what they learned.
- Visit the classroom. Often times there is scheduling conflicts that limit this contact, but remember parents are always welcome at Tri-City Elementary!
- If you would like to volunteer in the classroom or help the classroom teacher with various projects throughout the year, contact your child's teacher.
Sincerely,
Kara S. Cummins
